Publications
The role of the Publications Office at Tara is to highlight the many achievements of our girls and community through a number of timely publications. We understand the importance of home school communication and aim to share this in a variety of means to parents, students, staff and the wider community. Some of Tara’s printed publications include:
Annual Report
A NSW Board of Studies document that features “top-line” information about the strategic imperatives of the school, goals achieved and future plans. It also contains the HSC accomplishments of our students and staff together with financial information. The 2008 Annual Report is available to download in PDF format here.
Tara Circle
A colour gloss magazine that features Tara’s curriculum news with a strong focus on engaged students in our creative classrooms with their excellent teachers, latest community stories and news of Old Girls. It is circulated three times a year and posted to current families, Old Girls, past parents and future families.
Information Handbooks
An important collection of handbooks for new families to refer to, in CD format, which are divided into relevant sections: General Information, Junior School, Before and After School Care, Senior School, Boarding and Overseas Students. Families may download and print these handbooks at their convenience.
Yearbook
This annual publication is a celebration of our students’ and staff achievements. This colour magazine is circulated to current students and staff. Old Girls may also request a copy.
TARAnews
This fortnightly school newsletter is distributed during Term time and contains timely news on events and achievements of our students and staff. Important community notices and dates also feature.
