Our Foundation for the future
Tara Anglican School for Girls has a wonderful history and its success has been built on the support, enthusiasm and generosity of the Tara community. Tara will continue to grow and develop only by our community continuing to meet the need and be willing to contribute in whatever way we can. Our belief is that we can all contribute in some way - through great ideas, gifts-in-kind via business skills and products or services, cash donations and bequests - and I request that you do contribute and experience the joy of giving and knowing that you've made a difference.

The Tara school community is extensive and consists of parents, students and staff, both past and present, as well as many suppliers and friends of Tara. The Trustees of the Tara Foundation volunteer their time and share their expertise to support and guide Tara's fundraising efforts and advise on the investment of money raised to maximise the incomes of our various Funds. It is the School Council's role to use the money to meet the short term and long term needs of the school.
The excellent facilities which Tara enjoys today, are the result of the foresight, generosity and planning of our community, past and present and we anticipate such generosity will flourish in the future. Support for the Tara Foundation is vital if Tara is to continue to fulfil its vision of providing high quality teaching and learning experiences that encourage each girl to develop her potential and to pursue life-long learning. Tara raises money so that we can provide the best for our Tara girls so that they in turn can make a positive contribution throughout their life - to their family, workplace, community and even possibly to humanity.

Our long term goal is to continue to develop the Tara facilities in line with the Strategic Plan and Master Plan for Development. In this way our environment and facilities support the education plan, along side the finance and wider community plan. A Donation Form may be viewed here.
Our mid term goal is to raise $5 million in 5 years, starting from 2007. This requires an average annual income of $1 million, beyond School Fees. Thank you to all who have assisted and may I encourage others to contribute to the Tara Foundation and continue our strong history of support, enthusiasm and generosity.
