We encourage alumni to stay connected with the school, so when your daughter leaves Tara, $250 from this Enrolment Fee is paid to the Tara Old Girls Association as a Life Membership fee.

Extra Subject Lessons
There are many extra subject lessons available, offering 15 lessons per semester. Extra subject lessons are optional and charged separately.
There are other expenses for each student. These incidentals may include:
excursions, IGSSA sport participation, books, stationery, school planner, locker security, library printing, Tara bus etc.

Discount on Fees for sisters
When a family has two daughters concurrently attending the school, the most senior student is charged full fees, and a 10% discount for the second sister's tuition and boarding fees and a 20% discount for the third and subsequent sisters' fees.
Tuition and Boarding statements for Years Pre K-11 are sent four times a year, except Year 12 where statements are sent three times per year. Payment is in advance and is by direct debit from your bank account, monthly, 10 times a year from February to November. Other incidental expenses are charged each term with a final invoice in December each year.
A select number of scholarships are available each year and they are awarded on the basis of the ACER academic scholarship examination plus a submitted portfolio, together with an interview with the Principal. For more detail on scholarships, please click here.
