At Tara, the Parents & Friends Association (P&F) embraces all the parents in the school and is underpinned by the enormous contribution made by an enthusiastic group of dedicated committees. We frame the committees around Care, Friendship Building, Service, Fundraising and Friends of Tara Groups in their support of the P&F executive. The P&F is an important communication link between the school and our parents. There are many ways that our Tara community is coordinated to make it possible for all our members to be involved.
Our P&F committee forms the umbrella group coordinating all the dedicated parent teams and is an essential link between parents and the school. The P&F Association holds general meetings monthly which are attended by the Principal, Deputy Principal - Head of Senior School and Head of Junior School. We are an inclusive school community and our meetings are open with diverse topics and we welcome your involvement.
As parents of current students, you automatically become members of our Association that provides our school community with practical assistance and financial resources. Our successful efforts rely completely on the participation and involvement of parent volunteers and we encourage you to join us through one or more of the many active groups. Your participation; whether it be by sponsoring or donating to a fundraising event, attending social events, giving input at P&F meetings or volunteering at the Chapel Cafe on Saturdays for sport; will be rewarding and can lead to life-long friendships with other families.
Please check the website or the P&F page in the Tara News throughout the year for more detailed event information or email us.
