Available to students applying to commence Year 11 (2028) at Tara Anglican School for Girls.
This scholarship is open to both current Tara students and students from other schools.
Applications open 8 October 2026 and close 24 April 2027.
Covers up to 100% of tuition fees.
Applies for the full duration of Years 11 and 12.
Successful recipients can choose either NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC), or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
Once awarded, students are expected to fully participate in their chosen senior study pathway throughout Years 11 and 12.
Applicants Should Demonstrate
Strong academic achievement throughout Years 7 to 10.
Significant involvement in co-curricular activities.
Meaningful contribution to their school through service, social justice, and community activities.
A well-rounded profile and a global outlook aligned with Tara's commitment to academic excellence and holistic education.
Application Requirements
An online scholarship application.
Introductory Video - up to two (2) minute video introducing yourself, why you would like to come to Tara, something you are proud of, and the direction you have for your future
A reflective personal statement highlighting achievements and involvement in sport, leadership, religious and cultural activities, community engagement
Evidence of alignment with the Tara values of Integrity, Affirmation, Opportunity and Service
Academic merit is assessed through School reports from Years 7 to 10 and NAPLAN results (or equivalent international testing data)
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview with the Principal or delegate.
