Tara has a wide range of sports and activities available to your daughter whatever her level of sporting ability. Whatever her interest, there is a place for your daughter at Tara. The experiences provided by physical activity potentially have a key role in providing young people with the skills, knowledge, understanding, values and attitudes that are fundamental to their health and lifestyles.

Junior School Sport

Physical education at Tara focuses on learning about the imperative of a balanced life to achieve lifelong wellbeing for ourselves and others.

Senior School Sport

Tara offers many different sports to Senior students, from learning how to play through to elite level.

IGSA Sport Risk Warning

The School is a member of the Independent Girls’ Schools Association (IGSA) and is involved in several other competitions, which are held mid-week, or on weekends. Tara students also represent their House colours in termly interhouse carnivals for athletics, swimming, gymnastics, cross country and more. Fitness classes run throughout the year.
