Set on 12 hectares in North Parramatta, Tara offers students space to learn, play and grow. Our campus includes a wide range of facilities that support learning, wellbeing and cocurricular involvement, including modern learning spaces, science and technology laboratories, a library and resource centre, Senior Learning and Careers Centre, Chapel, Performing Arts Centre and Theatre, Astronomy Centre and Observatory, and before and after school care facilities.
Students also benefit from extensive sporting facilities, including an indoor pool, gymnasium, playing fields, tennis, basketball and netball courts, a fitness centre and rowing facilities. The campus is also home to Eggleton House boarding, a cafeteria and welcoming spaces that foster connection and community.
At Tara, girls are encouraged to explore their interests, discover new passions and develop their talents in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our extensive cocurricular program offers opportunities across debating, public speaking, the performing arts, sport, academic pursuits and a wide range of clubs and activities.
We also encourage students to think beyond their immediate world and develop a global perspective through cultural experiences, international performance tours and overseas exchange programs. These opportunities help girls build confidence, broaden their horizons and develop the skills and connections to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
All activities and leadership roles are open to all our girls. They have the chance to participate, influence and lead. Student leadership is a great way to tap into student energy, build self respect and create a caring School.
Student leadership at Tara empowers our students. What is important to them, is important to us.

For rural families, Eggleton House provides a supportive boarding community where girls build independence, resilience and lifelong friendships while remaining connected to the life of the School.
We value the commitment, ability and exceptional contribution boarders bring to the life of the School.
