The Claridge Learning Resource Centre is named after Miss Helen Claridge who was the fifth Principal of Tara from 1959 to 1971. Miss Claridge was an avid supporter of Tara's library and recognised the important role it played in student learning and wellbeing and is a vital part of the Tara Senior School experience.
Our extensive print and digital collections provide students with the best possible resources for their learning, individual interests and reading for pleasure. Our fiction collection is organised by genre to increase ease of access and assist students to make informed decisions based on interest and reading level. We provide a small collection of fiction, non-fiction and newspapers in global languages for our bilingual students.
Claridge Learning Resource Centre is spacious and easily accessible for all students. The flexible learning zones within facilitate a variety of learning styles. Our facilities include four teaching spaces, four student seminar rooms and a green screen recording studio.
7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday (during term time).
